League of Legends tier list by role

How the tiers are made

A win rate on few games can be high by luck. So each champion’s win rate is first pulled toward its role’s, as if it had played 1,000 more games at that rate: a champion with forty thousand games barely moves, one with fifteen hundred moves a lot. Champions are then ranked by this adjusted win rate, and its distance to the role’s win rate gives the tier: S from +1.5 points, A from +0.5, B within half a point, C down to −1.5, D below.

Only champions with at least 1,000 games in the role are listed; the table shows their real win rate, with “≈” under 5,000 games, where it can still move by more than a point. The pick rate is the share of games where the champion was picked in that role, the ban rate the share of all games where it was banned; both are indicative (“≈”). A tier says how a champion did in these games, not how it will do in yours: who plays it counts as much.
