How this website and the closed-test build of the Gankademy app handle information.
Updated 21 October 2026
1. Scope and responsible publisher
This policy covers this website and the closed-test build of the Gankademy desktop app. The publisher, and the contact for any privacy request, is Lies Mehenni, an individual based in France: liesmhnpro@gmail.com. No company has been formed for Gankademy yet; see the legal notice.
2. Visiting this website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no browser storage. Everything it loads — pages, styles, images, short film clips (the four review clips of the home page only when you play one) and its script — comes from this same host: no font, script, image or media is loaded from another host.
Its script only animates the page on your device: reveals on scroll, counters, the coach picker, the clip player. It makes no network request and stores nothing; a Content-Security-Policy in every page forbids it to. There is no form: following the contact link opens your own e-mail program. Browsing this site does not record anything and does not connect to your League client.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Delivering and protecting the website may involve processing network information such as your IP address, request details and device or browser information. This is separate from gameplay data. The account’s logging configuration and retention have not been verified; we do not claim that the hosting layer processes no personal data or sets no cookies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you write to the contact address, your message and e-mail address are used to answer you.
3. Information used by the desktop app
- Profile and match information: your Riot ID, region, game identifiers, match history and timelines, used for statistics and coaching. Riot API answers about a match contain identifiers and match information about the other players of that match.
- Champion select (League client, read-only): the phase, your own cell and position, your team’s picks and hovers, completed enemy picks and revealed bans. Other players’ names, identifiers, ranks and chat are never read into the app, stored, logged or shown.
- In-game data (Live Client Data API): the game clock and mode; with live data on, your own CS and gold and the items the Tab scoreboard shows. Read and shown on your PC only.
- Local gameplay media: recordings, extracted frames, clips, screen readings (your HUD, your allies’ health, your minimap’s icons) and generated films. Recording requires your explicit opt-in; game audio may be present in local recordings depending on settings.
- Coaching history: analyses, missions, rules, recurring patterns and feedback used to follow your progression from game to game.
- Technical information: local settings and diagnostic logs. Product analytics are off by default and local only. Logs follow secret-redaction rules; this does not guarantee that all sensitive content is removed.
The app stores recordings and coaching history on your computer. Local storage does not prevent network requests when you use Riot services or ask for an analysis.
In a test build, the app holds no service key: its requests to Riot, to the AI provider and to the voice service go through a relay operated by the publisher (hosted on Cloudflare), which adds the key and forwards them. The relay keeps usage counters per tester (number of requests, token counts, estimated cost and the number of Final Reviews made — a number, never their content), attached to the tester’s access code; it does not store or log the content of requests or answers. The only content it keeps is a problem report a tester sends on purpose from the app: their message and a technical diagnostic of the app, without any key, kept by the publisher to fix the problem.
4. AI analysis
The coach analysis is optional and has its own consent. When you ask for one, the AI provider — Google, through its Gemini API, reached through the relay — receives selected gameplay frames, short muted video excerpts and structured match facts, for post-game coaching. The analysis pipeline excludes full-length recordings, audio and your own feedback from those requests.
Every frame is checked to be the game view before it is sent. That check is automatic, not a guarantee: a window overlapping the game can still be caught in an image. Avoid displaying personal information over the game, and see in the app what was sent for each moment.
The provider’s retention, processing locations, international transfers and contractual terms for the account used must be confirmed before any public release. Do not assume zero retention, processing limited to the EU or exclusion from model training. Turning the analysis off stops future requests; it does not recall data already sent.
5. The coaches’ voices
In a test build, the narration text of a film and the coaches’ preview lines are sent through the relay to ElevenLabs, which generates each coach’s voice. This happens only with your access code and your AI consent; otherwise a local Windows voice reads the same text and nothing is sent. This is a separate outbound flow from the gameplay analysis; the provider’s terms and retention must be confirmed before any public release.
6. Profiles shared between friends
If you turn on “Share my profile” on the Friends page, the app sends your Gankademy profile to the Gankademy service (the relay above, hosted on Cloudflare) so that the friends you accept can see it: your Riot ID, your official rank as Riot gives it, your Gankademy level, your games’ scores and labels, your champions and their grades, your records, your missions and your rules table. It is updated after each of your games.
Never sent: your videos, your reviews, your recordings, your voice notes and your conversations with the coach. Only the players you accepted as friends, who share theirs too, see your profile; nobody else, and there is no public list. You can stop at any time with “Stop sharing”: your profile, your friendships and your requests are then deleted from the service. Under 15, ask a parent before sharing.
7. Retention, deletion and export
The app keeps each game’s Final Review. A game’s full recording is kept only until its review is made — 24 hours when the game is not analysed, 48 hours at most — then the recording and the coach’s clips are deleted. Everything stays under a storage cap (10 GB at most), oldest first. Recordings marked to keep are never deleted automatically. These are application settings, not a retention promise for every category of data.
Use Settings → Your data to delete recordings, reviews, analyses or all local app data; “Delete everything” first withdraws your shared profile from the relay, and if it cannot, nothing is deleted and you are told. Settings → Export coaching history exports your coaching records as JSON. Local deletion does not delete backups, exports copied elsewhere or information already held by an external provider.
Retention for website logs, support correspondence and any centrally held data still needs confirmation.
8. Your choices and rights
You can decline recording, turn off recording, the AI analysis, the League client reading or the live in-game data, and use the local deletion and export controls. These controls describe software behaviour; they do not by themselves establish the legal basis of every processing activity.
Where applicable, the GDPR provides rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, under its conditions. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. To exercise a right concerning data outside your own device, write to liesmhnpro@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or another competent supervisory authority.
9. What is still to be completed
Before any public release, this policy must still set out the purposes and legal basis of each processing activity, the recipients, the retention of hosting and support data, the AI and voice providers’ terms and international transfers, and the arrangements concerning minors.
