The build that wins most
A build, here, is the order of the first three finished items. Out of the 8,478 Miss Fortune games in bot lane where those three items are known, the three most-played paths:
| Build | Items | Played | Win rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Hubris → The Collector → Infinity Edge | 36% | ≈ 55.6% |
| 2 | Bloodthirster → The Collector → Infinity Edge | 15% | ≈ 55.1% |
| 3 | The Collector → Hubris → Infinity Edge | 7% | ≈ 52.5% |
The most-played build starts with Hubris then The Collector; the order matters: Hubris first wins more often than The Collector first (build 3).
With build 1, the game most often starts with Doran’s Blade + Health Potion + Stealth Ward, the boots are Boots of Swiftness (65% of games) and the skills are maxed in the order Q > W > E (96%). Most frequent next items: Lord Dominik’s Regards, Bloodthirster, Rapid Firecannon.

Matchups: the easiest and the hardest
Miss Fortune’s win rate against each opponent in the same role, compared with the champion’s usual 50.5%: the gap in points. Only matchups of at least 200 games are kept.
Easiest against
| Opponent | Games | Win rate | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ezreal | 1,796 | 55.5% | +5.0 |
| Ashe | 1,577 | ≈ 52.9% | +2.5 |
Hardest against
| Opponent | Games | Win rate | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nilah | 303 | ≈ 44.2% | −6.2 |
| Sivir | 861 | ≈ 46.7% | −3.8 |
| Yasuo | 625 | ≈ 46.9% | −3.6 |
| Jinx | 4,073 | ≈ 48.7% | −1.7 |
Against Yasuo, your ultimate crashes into his wind wall: keep it for when the wall is down. Against Sivir, her spell shield swallows your bouncing shot: hit first, shoot after. Against Ezreal, your shot bouncing off a minion punishes each of his last hits.
The most frequent mistakes
Two habits measured on the 10,689 games with a minute-by-minute timeline, then the champion’s own mistakes. These gaps go with losing without proving the cause, but the habit to build is clear.
- Dying before 15 minutes. 54% of games have three or more deaths before the 15th minute; they win only 41.8%, against 63.7% when Miss Fortune dies once or less (25% of games). Instead: Miss Fortune has no dash. Trade with your bouncing shot from behind your minions, and keep Flash for their engage.
- Falling behind on farm. At 10 minutes, games with 65 minions or fewer (25%) win 43.1%; those with 81 or more (27%), 57.7%. Instead: switch target between minions to make the most of your bonus on a new target, and use your bouncing shot to take a last hit and hit the champion behind.
- Heal instead of Barrier. Flash + Heal is taken in 3% of Miss Fortune’s games and wins 47.0%; Flash + Barrier wins 50.7%. Instead: Flash + Barrier.
- Channelling the ultimate in the middle of the fight. Your ultimate is channelled: any control cuts it off. Instead: cast it after their controls are spent, from the edge of the fight or behind your frontline.
- Shooting the champion directly. Your shot hurts most when it bounces from a nearly dead minion onto the champion. Instead: watch the low minions in front of your opponent, and shoot to hit both.
