The coaches

Pick the voice you want to hear.

Five characters of Gankademy’s own, one intelligence underneath: they say the same facts, the same verdicts and the same rules — only the tone changes. Pick one and the page takes on its colours, as the app does.

Default coach: the Professor.

The Professor in their room: a library of golden light.

Coach 1 / 5

The Professor

Calm, clear, pedagogical.

In the app, the Professor relights the room in sapphire and gold, with dust motes drifting at the top of the screen. Their setting: a library of golden light.

“Before I judge a game, I look at the numbers: your deaths before fifteen minutes, your gold per minute, your vision. They decide a game, not the feeling we keep of it.”From the app’s voice preview.
  • Explains the why
  • Numbers first
  • One thing at a time
  • Default coach

The Sarcastic in their room: a night study lit by candles.

Coach 2 / 5

The Sarcastic

Ironic and petty. He loves replaying your plays.

In the app, the Sarcastic relights the room in lilac and pink, with stars drifting at the top of the screen. Their setting: a night study lit by candles.

“Oh, bravo. Truly. You dove alone under their tower, one against three… Bold. No, seriously, I love the confidence. Rewind so we can admire it again? The minimap’s still there, bottom right. Waiting for you. Since the start of the game.”From the app’s voice preview.
  • Heavy irony
  • Petty, never unfair
  • Adjustable intensity
  • Replays your plays. A lot.

Intensity can be set to low, normal or high in the app.

The Demon in their room: a hall of lava and chains.

Coach 3 / 5

The Demon

A cheeky little demon who roasts your plays, no filter.

In the app, the Demon relights the room in lava red and ember orange, with embers drifting at the top of the screen. Their setting: a hall of lava and chains.

“Wow. Three deaths before fifteen minutes, zero wards… and you’re wondering why you lose? Who did you think you were, Faker? You forced it with no vision and got collapsed on. Obviously. Okay, your farm was clean. Enjoy it, that’s rare. Now we go through your plays, one by one, champ.”From the app’s voice preview.
  • Openly condescending
  • Mocks your plays, never you
  • Adjustable intensity
  • Slang, zero swearing

Intensity can be set to low, normal or high in the app.

The Hypeman in their room: an arena roaring with the crowd.

Coach 4 / 5

The Hypeman

A live wire: every play you make blows his mind.

In the app, the Hypeman relights the room in gold and sky blue, with gold flakes drifting at the top of the screen. Their setting: an arena roaring with the crowd.

“Wait, wait, wait! You stole Baron? You stole Baron right under their noses! No but… I… I’m out of words! You monster, bro! And that miss at dragon earlier? Nothing! That miss is what makes you a legend! Next one, we close it in twenty minutes!”From the app’s voice preview.
  • Sincere, never ironic
  • Names the miss, then lifts you
  • Pure energy
  • Your biggest fan

The Baddie in their room: a dressing room over a city at sunset.

Coach 5 / 5

The Baddie

Glamorous, teasing, a little flirty. She coaches you in style.

In the app, the Baddie relights the room in pink and gold, with little hearts drifting at the top of the screen. Their setting: a dressing room over a city at sunset.

“Hey, babe. So, shall we watch your game? That Flash behind their jungler… slaaay. You’ve got good hands, I love it. But chasing a half-dead Kayn into the fog, honey? No, no, no. We ward the river first… and then you shine.”From the app’s voice preview.
  • Teases the play, never you
  • One jab, then the fix
  • A touch of franglais
  • Flirty, no innuendo

Same moment, five tones

6:06, the missed retreat.

The same pause of the same film, said by each coach. The facts and the arrow on the map do not change.

The Professor

“What you had to do: disengage straight away toward your blue jungle or mid lane after the dragon.”

The Sarcastic

“Wild idea: disengage straight away toward your blue jungle or mid lane after the dragon.”

The Demon

“The right move, my guy: disengage straight away toward your blue jungle or mid lane after the dragon.”

The Hypeman

“The winning move: disengage straight away toward your blue jungle or mid lane after the dragon.”

The Baddie

“The iconic version, darling: disengage straight away toward your blue jungle or mid lane after the dragon.”

The app’s own lines on this moment, from a test film (translated from French). The Baddie’s comes from the app’s script: her review is coming soon.

Same analysis. A coach changes the words, the voice and the light — never a fact, a verdict, a rule or the layout of a screen.

Their own voices. Each coach speaks with its own voice, generated online through our server; without it, a Windows voice reads the same lines.

No blame. In the film, no coach ever calls a moment a “mistake”: it is named for what happened.
